How long have you been a wedding photographer?
I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2006. Before that, I worked in graphic communications and collaborated with publications including Rolling Stone, Architectural Digest, and The New Yorker.
Where do you work?
Since 2006, I’ve documented more than 760 weddings across 32 states and several countries worldwide. My work spans a diverse range of settings—from historic estates and hotel ballrooms to remote mountain towns and coastal retreats. I frequently travel for celebrations and I’m always open to new adventures, whether in a familiar city or a destination I’ve yet to explore.
What are your rates?
Every wedding is unique. Factors like location, schedule, and guest count influence the final cost. I’m happy to create a custom proposal once I know more about your plans.
How would you describe your style?
My approach is calm and unobtrusive, blending into the background to capture timeless, natural imagery. If being photographed feels daunting, you’re not alone; I focus on creating a relaxed environment where you can simply be yourselves.
Do you belong to any industry-related communities?
Yes, I've been an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) since 2012, as well as the Artistic Guild (AG|WPJA) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), among others.
Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?
I photograph weddings for all couples, approaching every celebration with the same care and respect.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I carry general liability, indemnification, and equipment insurance through Hiscox and the PPA. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I work with professional Leica and Canon systems, high-quality lenses, and on-location lighting. For total image safety, I always carry backups of every essential item and record to dual memory cards throughout the day.
Do you work with other photographers?
I work with a network of approximately 30 trusted photographers nationwide who are qualified to serve as lead or second shooters.
How many hours do you work during a wedding?
My coverage typically spans the entire day—from getting ready through the reception. Most weddings fall within the six-to-eight-hour range, tailored to your specific schedule and needs.
How many images will we receive from our wedding?
A typical six-to-eight-hour wedding will yield approximately 500–700 fully edited images. The exact number depends on the schedule, venue, guest count, and how the day unfolds.
Do you edit all of the photos? Black and white or color?
Yes. I personally edit every image to ensure it meets my professional standards. Your gallery will be delivered in full color, along with a curated selection of black-and-white images.
How are the images delivered?
Images are delivered via a secure, password-protected digital gallery through Pic-Time.com. Your gallery is beautifully organized for easy sharing and includes full usage rights for downloading and printing.
