How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2006. Before that, I worked in graphic communications, collaborating with clients including MTV, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Architectural Digest, and The New Yorker.
Where do you work?
I'm based in NJ/NYC, but my work takes me all over, from city halls to mountain towns, coastlines to farmlands, and just about everything in between. As of 2025, I’ve photographed weddings in 32 states and a handful of countries abroad. Traveling is a big part of who I am, and I’m always open to new adventures.
How many weddings have you photographed?
Since 2006, I’ve photographed more than 700 weddings, capturing more than two million images along the way. My work spans a wide range of venues—from hotel ballrooms and historic properties to farms, ranches, beaches, country clubs, restaurants, churches, private residences, parks, urban settings, and beyond.
What are your rates?
My wedding collections begin at $2K, and I’ve photographed everything from intimate courthouse elopements to celebrations with over 500 guests. Every wedding is unique—location, schedule, guest count, and deliverables all play a role in shaping the final cost. Please reach out for a custom proposal tailored to your vision and priorities.
How would you describe your style?
My approach is non-intrusive and blends storytelling, photojournalism, fashion, and creative portraiture. I aim to create timeless, authentic imagery that feels natural and effortless—never overly posed or staged.
Do you belong to any industry-related communities?
Yes, I’m an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), the Artistic Guild (AG|WPJA), and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), among others.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I carry general liability, indemnification, and equipment insurance through Hiscox and the PPA. Please let me know if you need a certificate of insurance.
Are you active on Instagram?
I enjoy Instagram, but between traveling, shooting, editing, and staying focused on my current clients, I rarely have the time to post. Out of the 700+ weddings I’ve photographed, only a handful have made it to Instagram.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I shoot with Leica and Canon cameras, professional lighting, and high-quality lenses. All of my images are carefully processed on Apple computers using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and other industry-standard software. Committed to quality and excellence, I regularly invest in new equipment to ensure the best results.
Do you work with other photographers?
Yes, I often collaborate with a select group of talented photographers who are qualified to serve as lead or second shooters. They’re based across the country, ensuring coverage wherever your wedding takes place.
How many hours do you work during a wedding?
My wedding coverage typically includes everything from getting-ready moments and details to bride and groom portraits, the ceremony, wedding party and family photos, cocktails, and the reception. This usually totals around six to eight hours, depending on your schedule and needs.
How many images will we receive from our wedding?
A typical six to an eight-hour wedding with 150 guests will yield approximately 500-700 edited images. The exact amount of images is relative to the weather, number of guests, schedule, venue, etc.
Do you edit all of the photos? Black and white or color?
I personally edit every image, adjusting color temperature, exposure, straightening, sharpening, and overall enhancements. For a standard wedding, you can expect around 500–700 final edited images. Your gallery will be delivered in full color, with a selection of black and white versions included.
How are the images delivered?
All of your edited images are delivered via a secure digital download through Pic-Time.com, protected with your personal password. You’ll have full usage rights, and every image is fully edited, high-resolution, and ready to download, print, share, or use however you like.
