Approach

On a wedding day, I work quietly and stay out of the way. No awkward setups or stopping the celebration for elaborate shots—just real moments and the in-between seconds that often matter the most.

After more than 800 weddings across the country and abroad, I’ve built a body of work rooted in honesty, observation, and authentic moments. Along the way, my work has been published in Vogue, GQ, Tatler, and The New York Times, and I’m a long-standing member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association.

Every couple receives the same attention and respect, regardless of background, identity, or orientation.

Experience

I’ve photographed celebrity weddings, high-profile families, and private events where discretion mattered deeply, including a wedding on the grounds of the White House in 2016. NDAs, security coordination, and image-rights buyouts have all been handled quietly and professionally.

Venues, Travel & Reliability

I’ve photographed weddings in 32 states and several countries, from living rooms to castles and everything in between. I manage my own travel and logistics and typically arrive at least two days early for destination weddings.

In 20 years, I’ve never missed a wedding, canceled on a couple, or left anyone wondering if there would a photographer there for their wedding.

The Team

I always work with an assistant photographer, and for larger weddings I bring in a small, trusted team when needed. For destination events, I always work with a local second photographer who knows the area. I’m always the lead photographer on site and the only person who edits and delivers your final gallery.

Deliverables & Gear

I photograph primarily with Canon and Leica digital cameras, with backup equipment always on hand. I also bring a few vintage film cameras and Polaroids for a mix of digital photos, film, and instant prints (often shared the same day).

Every photograph in your final gallery is delivered in 100% color, with a curated selection also presented in black and white.
